In early April, Bold Group hosted Converge 2022, our inaugural customer conference dedicated to transformation and innovation in the security industry. This event was special not just because it was held at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club in Orlando, Florida, but because it was our first time together in more than two years!
All our product lines were represented, from our alarm monitoring group to the business management group, and our senior leadership team was on-site to talk with customers, clients and vendors.
The 2022 conference theme was Transform, Innovate, Inspire, and that’s exactly what the event did. We brought together technology innovators, thought leaders, and even our very first celebrity keynote speaker (keep reading to find out who that was). On top of that, customers had the opportunity to attend in-depth product training led by our world-class product training team and get valuable face-to-face time with our support and executive leadership teams.

The Launch of Managely, Our Brand-New Business Management Software
Managely is a game changer for the security industry, and there is no doubt our brand-new business management solution stole the show at Converge 2022. Those in attendance were the first to see our new software, now on the market. Our own SVP of Product Management, Julie Lichty, highlighted a few of its standout features, including its sleek, modern interface, executive and role-based dashboards, embedded Microsoft® Power BI, and reputation management platform.

Bold Group President Alison Forsythe on Why She’s Focused on the Future
Converge opened with a forward-thinking keynote from Bold Group president Alison Forsythe, who explored the conference’s theme “Transform, Innovate, Inspire.” She looked at 10 technology mega trends that are shaping our lives and explained why she is so focused on the future. “We are heads down developing and delivering great products, services, and innovations,” she said. “Innovations that will propel your business forward and make your services indispensable to end users.”
Superbowl Champion & MVP Joe Theismann
The response to Joe Theismann was unanimous: his keynote was nothing short of amazing. Not only did he give a rousing presentation sharing stories from his life on and off the field, but he also opened the floor to questions from the audience. (Is Tom Brady really the GOAT? Answer: Yes. Who’s a good bet for next year’s Superbowl? Sorry, Browns fans.)
Along with Joe Theismann, we had two other incredible guest keynotes: Kevin Surace, a Inc. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year, and Mike Staver, internationally acclaimed speaker, leadership coach and author. These three powerhouse speakers all reflected upon the need to be drivers of disruptive innovation. “Embrace change with fervor,” Kevin Surace told us—one of our favorite quotes of the event!
Solutions Expo Spotlighting Best-in-Class Solutions
Our Solutions Expo showcased technologies from our best-in-class, industry-leading partners: CSG Forte, Communication Service Solutions (CSS), Digital Watchdog, Modig Leadership, OneTel Security, OPT Business Services, Inc., Rapid Response Monitoring, Resideo, Sentry AI, TTech Print, and WeSuite, LLC.
