A Team of Experts Behind the Wheel
The Bold Group Executive Team is made up of professionals that have invested their careers in the growth and development of the security industry. The extensive backgrounds of our leadership team make them uniquely qualified to understand the needs of our customers and guides the ongoing direction of the Bold Group.
Alison Forsythe has over 30 years of experience in the IT sector. Starting in the Silicon Valley to many cities and countries in between, she has been a pioneer. Most recently at Honeywell, she served as Vice President and General Manager of enterprise software solutions responsible for the transformation of Honeywell from an industrial conglomerate to an enterprise software company. Prior to this, she served as Managing Director and General Manager at Exact Software and was retained in 2013 to lead the turnaround of a legacy, on-premises ERP software company. Under her leadership she was responsible for
transforming the software development methodology from Waterfall to Agile resulting in a new flagship product being released which won several industry awards. Alison was responsible for the general management of the Macola division, overseeing software development, marketing including PR, communications and brand reinvigoration, sales, customer support, consulting services and corporate culture.
Prior to joining Exact in 2013, Alison led the enterprise market expansion efforts at SMART Technologies as the Managing Director, Americas. Prior to SMART Technologies, Alison served as Vice President, Americas Channel Sales for CA Technologies, a global provider of enterprise IT management software, driving significant revenue growth in addition to reengineering financial and operational processes. Alison also served in various sales leadership positions throughout a nine-year career at GE Commercial Finance. During her tenure with GE, she was responsible for managing a $1B sales division with GE Access, a worldwide distributor of Sun Microsystems and other complementary IT products. She later joined GE Vendor Financial Services where she led the sales division, responsible for developing and providing financing solutions to Sun Microsystems channel partners and end user clients.
Throughout Alison’s career she has been recognized as a software industry thought leader receiving numerous awards including Top Midmarket IT Executive and Supply Chain Influential Leader. Other career highlights include meeting the President of the United States in 2012 to discuss technology in education, delivering a joint keynote speech on American manufacturing with economist, actor and presidential speechwriter Ben Stein and flying an aeronautical stunt plane for an opening promotional video for one of her keynotes!
Originally from California and from a family of entrepreneurs, Alison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Business Administration from Queens College.
Julie Lichty is an accomplished product and services executive and board director who has led successful multi-billion dollar portfolios through an unwavering customer-centric lens, leveraging expertise in hardware, digital transformation, product management, operations, and innovative solutions.
Most recently, as Executive Director of Product Management for Panasonic Avionics Corporation, Julie led across hardware, software, and digital services with a $1B+ P&L on a portfolio of over $2B, for more than 300 global airlines, utilizing her keen emotional intelligence with a human touch. These innovative products are seen and used by 2.5 billion users annually.
Julie has driven digital, hardware product and services strategies and go-to-market across the technology and business spectrum. As a digital expert, she leads at the forefront of IoT, AI, SaaS, Software and Cloud. Julie is recognized as a pioneer who “stays a step ahead” – foreseeing trends, innovating winning value propositions for solutions to meet emerging trends, and establishing market leadership through strategic partnerships, technology, and differentiated customer services.
Julie earned a BA in Business Administration & Organizational Management from Vanguard University, graduating magna cum laude. She holds certificates in Executive Education for Directors and Women’s Leadership Institute from the University of California, Los Angeles, The John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management. She is also Product Manager certified from the Pragmatic Institute.
Jenny Riggs is a transformative and engaging customer success executive, offering strategic leadership for over a $1B book of business, $60M annual budget management, and over $14M in annual Professional Services revenue. She has a proven track record of experience building a customer-obsessed culture as a strong diplomatic servant leader.
Jenny Riggs leads through influence and has a strong sense of cross-organizational teamwork delivering world-class solutions. Her expertise in solving customer facing problems, transforming operations and technology combined with her remarkable ability to develop successful strategies have repeatedly produced revenue enhancing operations and attracted strong business partnerships. She consistently delivers positive results in challenging and highly competitive industries. Jenny continually leverages an unwavering commitment to excellence in developing and delivering innovative enterprise-level customer experience operations programs.
In her most recent position as Head of Customer Success with Thomson Reuters, Jenny was adept at identifying the root cause of customer software issues and translated complex processes into clear, understandable, and actionable steps to be delivered by specified teams. She worked to develop a culture of strategic customer relations and cross-functional team building.
Jenny Riggs holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focused on International Business & HR earned from The University of Toledo. Her Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Business Administration & Management was granted from Lourdes University. She holds a Customer Experience Executive Certificate earned from Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business.
Aaron has over 20 years experience selling security software and technology solutions to customers with global reach. He has dedicated his career to focusing on customer needs, and the continuing evolution of how technology solves customer pain. Prior to joining Bold Group, Aaron held prominent sales leadership roles with some of the largest technology companies in the world, including HP, EMC, and Dell Technologies. Most recently, Aaron oversaw revenue and managed sales teams for North America with Pivot3.
Since 1987, Thom has played an important role in shaping technology in the monitoring space and bringing innovative solutions to the industry. During his career, Thom has progressed through operations, engineering, and business development with several automation providers. Thom created the industry’s first web-based automation solution and was a principal architect in the design of stages™.
Travis joined Bold Group from Perennial Software, where he was Chief Technology Officer. During his time with Perennial Software, Travis architected, developed, and launched the AlarmBiller product. He leads a team of software engineers, product managers, and quality engineers, and is passionate about building solutions around the user experience while targeting the latest technological innovations.
Greg spent over eight years in an executive operations role at a privately held security systems dealer in Tennessee where he was an end user of SedonaOffice and oversaw the adoption of many new technology platforms to the company’s customer base. During this time, Greg also served as a board member with the Tennessee Electronic Security Association.
Before entering the electronic security industry, Greg spent time in Washington D.C., as a senior policy adviser for a United States Senator, primarily focused on funding for the Department of Homeland Security, pandemic preparedness, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Before joining Bold Group in January of 2020, Greg served in executive leadership at a Denver-based education technology platform.
