Colorado Springs, CO – 12/3/18. Bold Group announced today it has acquired the Texas-based central station software company Security Information & Management Systems, Inc (SIMS, Inc.). With the acquisition, SIMS will integrate with the Bold Group organization and its product lines.

SIMS has been a respected leader in the security industry for over 35 years and this acquisition and integration will provide Bold Group a broader reach into the market, as well as seasoned industry resources and expertise.

Ken Utley, SIMS founder, said: “We are excited about the opportunities this new venture provides, and are honored to be a part of the industry-leading Bold Group organization.” Ken Utley will remain as a consultant to the organization to provide a smooth transition following the transaction. No other management changes are expected to occur in the immediate future, and the SIMS staff will remain in place in the Texas offices.
