BoldTalk

BoldTalk is a simple way for Bold customers to communicate with each other and with Bold staff. Whether you want to discuss a product, offer an opinion, ask other Bold customers a question, or just GET INFORMED, you can ask on BoldTalk! With over 450 Manitou customers, someone is sure to have the answer or insight you are looking for. Bold staff and steering committee members monitor the submissions as well, in case you need an expert’s advice! BoldTalk is available for all currently live Manitou customers.

After registering for BoldTalk, you will receive an email to confirm your subscription. You will also receive an email with a link to the BoldTalk Rules and Etiquette guidelines. Every member can deactivate and/or reactivate his or her membership to the list via email, password and the URL sent on the day of BoldTalk subscription.

Coffee with Manitou

Join us for a cuppa! Coffee with Manitou is a one-hour monthly webinar session, bringing Manitou users together for training or to share valuable information.

Coffee with Manitou started in 2007 as ongoing webinars with topics that range from system maintenance suggestions to data entry tips to overlooked supervisor functions available in the system. We also use the opportunity to introduce exciting new integrations and products, and touch on important topics that affect our industry.

Coffee with Manitou takes place on a Wednesday, mid-month, at 11am MT. Customers can register in advance to receive a recording of the webinar if they cannot attend the live one. Recorded Coffee with Manitou sessions can be accessed on the Bold Technologies YouTube channel.

User Conferences

We are pleased to host the best Users Conferences in the industry! Our Users Conferences combine training and networking to provide our software users with a well-balanced variety of educational and training sessions and help them connect with their peers. As attendees, users can learn in-depth about their software product, get the scoop on updates and new products, understand the company roadmap, hear from industry leaders, meet with Bold staff and trainers, and network with other Bold users in a uniquely personal environment that fosters camaraderie and support.

Bold currently hosts a Users Conference for both our SedonaOffice customers and our Manitou customers.

Steering Committee

At Bold Technologies, we recognize that customer involvement is increasingly important for successful product development. The Bold Users Steering Committee was formed to represent the needs of all Bold Users and assist in guiding the Bold team with product development, knowledge, and training.

The Bold Users Steering Committee is an independent, customer-led organization, representing the different markets within our industry. The composition of the Committee supports representation of customers of various company sizes, who utilize the various products and services available from Bold’s catalog. The Bold Users Steering Committee consists of 13 members currently employed by a Bold customer, and are selected as individuals as well as the companies they represent.

Bold Users Steering Committee responsibilities include:

  • To be involved with BoldTalk
  • To conduct regular contact with the companies in which they are paired with mentoring.
  • To serve as a liaison with department(s) in which they are assigned.
  • To assist in creating and delivering training as needed for other users.
  • To assist with deciphering and prioritizing feature requests
  • To help guide the development of Manitou, including:
  • Suggest new functionality
  • Evaluate and guide UI
  • Discuss technology trends
  • Evaluate competitive offerings
  • To exhibit willingness to beta test software as needed

If a vacancy on the Bold Users Steering Committee occurs, interested individuals may formally submit their nomination to the Secretary of the Bold Users Steering Committee, along with any supporting documentation (eg. resume, biography of their company). Applications submitted will then be voted upon by the current Bold Users Steering Committee members.
