Action, suspend, or close out alarms without operator intervention. The Virtual Operator handles assigned signals and enables the Manitou system to automatically respond to an alarm event. The Virtual Operator can send emails, faxes, text messages, reverse channel commands, and Bold MediaGateway messages.
Manitou Developer Kit (MDK)
The MDK is used to create applications which connect to the Manitou Application Server, and is ideal for integrating internal, web, and/or third-party applications into Manitou. The MDK provides web services API, .Net API, and OCX API, and includes detailed specifications for developing to Manitou’s video standard as well as to Manitou’s XML standard.
Accounting Integration with SedonaOffice links databases between the Manitou and SedonaOffice software platforms. With this integration, monitoring centers can schedule, track, and invoice all service calls while ensuring the central station knows exactly which systems are on test. Data entry time is minimized as customer information is linked automatically.
An instructional and test system used to train staff in a secure environment. The Training Gym includes a copy of the central station’s current Manitou system, including all of the modules active on the live system. Useful for training new operators and training current staff when new functionality is added to the system. Also great for evaluating data conversions.
Used to enable specialized alarm handling and direct incoming signals to designated workstations or groups of operators. Standard uses include: create a group that receives alarms from a large corporate customer; direct traffic to a remote office during specified schedules; route signals from a storm region; and direct signals based on operator skillset.
A smart solution for voice and call recordings. VoiceRecord interfaces with the SecurVoice recording solution to link audio clips to alarms and events in Manitou. Store and replay voice recordings in Manitou’s Customer Activity Log. The integration saves time and resources when voice recordings need to be retrieved and reviewed.
Direct integration between Manitou and the Avaya or CSS Aeonix PBX phone systems. PBXStandard enables Caller ID Injection to provide better customer service and support dealer branding. Another feature is Auto Dialing of outbound calls to free up valuable time and reduce errors in dialing accuracy. No modem or proprietary TAPI interface required.
Safeguard accurate and standard data entry of account addresses. This product is backed by the United States Postal Service (USPS), and will verify physical addresses. Verifications can include Customer, Dealer, Branch, or Contacts associated with a record. This module allows for large groups of addresses to be compared against the USPS national database and updated with just a few clicks.
Ensure the proper authority information is populated for any incoming GPS-related alarm. Location Services provides an immediate PSAP lookup for a specific authority type (police, fire, medical), so dispatchers can quickly contact the correct responding authority based on the location of the alarm. Can also be used to update or add authorities to an account.
Enhanced Dealer Billing
Offered as an extension of the Accounting Integration with SedonaOffice or Quickbooks. Enhanced Dealer Billing adds features such as pro-rated billing, the ability to set start-date and end-date ranges, and the ability to generate operator time-based billing. Billing charges can be created based on fixed price or rate tables, as well as time-based or signal-based.
Interact with customers using email, text, and notifications. With the Communication Center, an operator can be on the phone with a customer, and at the same time email, text, or send notifications to customers during alarm handling. A great solution for modern central stations which are more than just call centers - they are communication centers.
Enhanced Action Patterns
Action Patterns in Manitou deliver step-by-step instructions on how to handle an alarm and ensure consistency. The Enhanced Action Patterns available in ManitouNEO can be constructed using logic statements like “if”, “then”, and “else.” Once initiated, Enhanced Action Patterns can look at history, run SQL statements, and even execute external programs.
Displays system conditions including time in designated time zones, alarm/signal queue, signal status counts, database usage, and more. Display the dashboard on a large screen so monitoring center staff can see statistics at a glance, or check statistics on a mobile device during travel. Dashboard is included as part of the ManitouNEO base.
Includes an open API so any type of statistics can be presented in the Dashboard - whether Manitou-related or not. Metrics important to the monitoring center can be reported on and displayed. Dashboard Analytics provides a powerful tool in measuring performance and providing a visual display to encourage improvement in the monitoring center.

Using Caller ID recognition and tracking, TwoWayPLUS automatically routes incoming calls to the operator who is handling the alarm. TwoWayPLUS can be used as a traditional Two-Way Voice solution or it can be configured so no receiver is required - perfect for elevator alarms, PERS devices, and any standard cell phone.
A software receiver for non-traditional transmissions that converts SMS, Email, ODBC database, FTP, TCP, GPRS, RSS, UDP and simple files into regular signals that are delivered into Manitou. Easily process non-traditional transmissions without requiring development resources. With the UniversalConnectoryou can expand service offerings and generate more revenues.
Uses SMS technology to enable Manitou to send and receive text messages. AutoText can manage low-priority alarms by generating automated outbound text messages and offers an interactive system for responses. AutoText includes over 80 menu templates for easy setup. Since text messages are read 200x faster than emails, AutoText provides the fastest and most efficient way to communicate with your customers.
An interactive voice response system proven to improve response times, increase communication to end-users, and provide better service for emergency alarms. OpenVoice can be configured as an Outbound and/or Inbound solution. Outbound helps manage low-priority alarms by generating automated calls using Text-to-Speech technology; Inbound presents callers with interactive menus.
Directly integrates the Bold MediaGateway with the Avaya or CSS Aeonix phone systems to enable higher-level feature sets such as Dealer-based Caller ID injection, Auto Dialing, Call Routing, and Automated Call Distribution. This solution will place incoming callers into a call queue and route incoming calls to ensure that agents do not receive unrelated calls while handling alarms.
This solution tests receiver lines and reports any failures. Failures are sent directly into Manitou as alarms, eliminating the requirement to wait for a test timer. With this solution, central station staff are immediately aware of any line problems and owners have peace of mind knowing that all signals and alarms are being delivered. LineCheck can also be used with a non-Manitou automation software.
