MediaGateway Overview

Bold MediaGateway combines several new technologies to create a ground-breaking product unlike any other in our industry. Through the integration of different media including telephony, voice, SMS technology, and data, Manitou now provides significantly increased efficiencies and revenue-generating opportunities for both central stations and alarm dealers.

The Bold MediaGateway is offered as a complete packaged solution or can be separated into specific components to support the services you want to provide and grow your business in the direction you want you take it.

MediaGateway bundled components:

OpenVoice
Bold Technologies OpenVoice system offers both inbound and outbound voice response functionality. Outbound OpenVoice can be used with the AutoClient and Text-to-Speech (TTS) for automated notification of alarms and customer interactive responses.

AutoText
The AutoText module uses true SMS Messaging technology for notification of alarms and twoway customer interaction.

LineCheck
The LineCheck module is a solution to a recognized problem in our industry. The LineCheck tests your receiver lines and reports any failures so you can have peace of mind knowing that signals and alarms are being delivered to your monitoring center.

Auto Client
The Auto Client enables the Manitou system to automatically respond to an alarm event. The Auto Client automatically handles the assigned signals and will send emails, faxes, text messages, reverse channel commands, and Text-to-Speech messages without operator intervention.

Manitou Event Centre
The Manitou Event Centre provides monitoring centers with a visual display of a variety of system
conditions, including current time in designated time zones, alarm/signal queue, signal status
counts, database usage and much more.

TwoWayVoice
The first fully automated two-way voice solution for the alarm industry is processed at the receiver and sent to your operator at the same time as the alarm presents on their screen.

InstantConnect
The InstantConnect module enables any phone to become an alarm system. When a telephone call comes into your monitoring center InstantConnect uses the caller ID and generates an alarm in Manitou.

SoloProtect
The SoloProtect module was designed to address the market need for lone worker safety and protection. SoloProtect uses caller ID and will create an alarm in Manitou with a recorded voice clip.

SMSAlert
SMSAlert is a configurable SMS Receiver. SMSAlert enables SMS-based signals to be received by the
Manitou system, parsed, and an alarm to be generated from the text message. This module is an
ideal solution for passing GPS information into Manitou from a mobile device.
