Tip of the Week : Changing the Resolution - George Habenicht

Posted in [Alarm Automation], [Tips] By Brandon Lilly

Ever needed to change the resolution of an alarm after it has already been closed? Manitou provides a function to update the resolution code after an alarm has been completed.

Open the customer form for the customer in question.  On the jump to menu select "Activity Log"

Select EDIT, then click on the signal in question.  The “resolution code” button will be grayed out until you click on an alarm.

Click on the "Resolution Code" button.  A Update Resolution code pop up form will display.

Select the new resolution code from the drop down box. Click ok.

You must select "Save" when you are finished.

An entry will be written into the customers activity log showing new resolution code.

RESOLUTION - Activation (*A) - Res: CM - False Alarm
