Tip of the Week : Time Zone Availability - Shaun Blair

Posted in [Alarm Automation], [Tips] By Brandon Lilly

A common "problem" that is encountered during data entry may have a simple solution.

Most of the time data entry personal will only have the need to add accounts to the same basic time zones. If you have an account that is located in an un-common time zone it may not appear in the drop down list. This is because of a check box in Supervisor Workstation. Every time zone is available in Supervisor workstation to control unique settings such as daylight savings time. There is a check box on each of the time zones that says “Do not display to user”. If this is checked it will not appear in the list of available time zones when adding a new account into Manitou. To make this available simply deselect that check box and you will be able to add that time zone to the account.

If you have any questions please let contact our support department!
