2010 Bold Users Group Meeting a Huge Success

Opening Session (full room)

I am so pleased that I am writing this blog post and saying with complete confidence that the 2010 Bold Users Group Meeting was a huge success.

Based on feedback from last year's Users Group Meeting and a suggestion from a customer (thank you again, Joel), we decided to hold this year's event in a "University Style" format so attendees could mix-and-match and choose which courses they wanted to attend during the Users Group Meeting.  The feedback on this format was very positive and I was told by several people that they were able to attend every session they wanted and that they learned a lot during the Meeting.

This format required a lot more planning, posed several logistical challenges, and somehow I became a "Hall Monitor" during the event; however, there was a high degree of energy and enthusiasm around the classes and we will continue with this format in future Users Group Meetings.

We have a lot of ideas on how to make next year's event even better!  There have been suggestions for different classes and ideas on how to improve the overall event.  We have several thoughts for the venue for next year and are already scheduling appointments to see several places.

Watch for details regarding next year's event.  We plan to have information released by the end of October.  Any of you that missed this year's event will not want to miss next year.  2011 is the 30th anniversary for Bold Technologies and the best is yet to come!
