MDACC 2010 Announced for September

Posted in [Events], [MediaGateway], [News], [Training], [Uncategorized] By Tiffany Coles

We are pleased to announce that the Manitou Database Administrator Certification Course (MDACC for short) is back for the 4th straight year.

The MDACC 2010 will be held from Monday, September 20 - Friday, September 24.

The MDACC is a 3-day boot-camp style course that is designed to introduce customers to the technologies and techniques used by the Bold staff when troubleshooting Manitou.  The course is held in our training lab in Colorado Springs and is a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on learning  in our "virtual central station" environment.

You may have noticed that the MDACC 2010 is 5-days versus 3-days.  Last year, we extended the MDACC by one full day to include training on our award-winning Bold MediaGateway product line.  This year we have extended the Bold MediaGateway training into two full days.

The MDACC 2010 is split into MDACC Core on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; and Bold MediaGateway training on Thursday and Friday.  Customers can register for the full MDACC 2010 (5 days), the MDACC Core (3 days), or the Bold MediaGateway training (2 days).

A sampling of MDACC Core topics include:

·         Managing Databases

·         Modifying Databases

·         Writing SQL Queries

·         Advanced Queries, SubQueries, and Sequences

·         Capacity Planning and Monitoring

·         Designing a New System or System Upgrade

A sampling of Bold MediaGateway topics include:

·         T1/ISDN Circuits: Transmission Media; Signaling Protocols and Trunks; Proper Wiring Methods; and Basic Troubleshooting

·         TwoWayVoice and the Bold MediaGateway

·         OpenVoice Inbound and OpenVoice Outbound and the Bold MediaGateway

·         Advanced Menu Techniques

Registration for the course is open and you can register online in minutes.  Simply click to be redirected to the online registration page.

You can also view the MDACC 2010 Datasheet for detailed course information.  You can also contact Tiffany Coles for more information.
